I wish I could say that I was going to celebrate this mother’s day by heading over to the ball park and enjoying the game, a freshly cooked hot dog, and a nice cold beer; but sadly, the Marlins have forsaken me, and they will be playing in Washington this evening. To top it off, it’s not a televised game and Scott Olsen is pitching. 
I will get to go to lunch with the whole family this afternoon, so that should temporarily subside my sadness. 
For any mother’s out there that read my site, I would like to personally wish you all a very happy mother’s day. I hope you have a beautiful and peaceful day filled with happiness and joy! If you have the opportunity, stick your husbands in the kitchen and go to a ball game! Or better yet, play catch with your young ones! Cherish these moments while you can.
