You knew things were going to go well last night for the Florida Marlins when Cody Ross hit a home run with the first pitch thrown by the Washington Nationals. From that very moment, the tone was set for the game. Dan Uggla hit his very first career grand slam, Jeremy Hermida broke every bat he swung with, and Wes Helms even went deep. Not to mention Andrew Miller successfully completed 7 full innings, giving up only two hits and allowing zero runs; giving him his third win. With amazing offense, Andrew Miller was able to find his comfort zone. I think it is safe to say Andrew Miller has finally found his groove!
Thanks to the amazing offense and defense, we were able to royally defeat the Nationals. Winning the game 11-0, the Florida Marlins had the Washington Nationals going home with their heads bowed down in shame. That’s a ball game! We are now riding a season high, six game winning streak! The season may still be early, but if we continue to go in the route that we are now, I think we have a very good chance of making it to the play offs!
